About Me

The Lone Quilter
I started quilting in 1986 when I moved from Coeur d'Alene,ID to Wellesley, MA. I had previously had a craft business and wanted to continue sewing and scouted all nearby fabric stores and ended up with one offering a quilting class. I left that class with a good quilting foundation, a beautiful wall hanging and a boyfriend who became the father of my daughter. I have been involved with many quilt groups in the past but since my daughter,Emma, was born in 1995 I have been in Franklin and quilting on my own. I have made many quilts for family, friends, and charity and am now finding myself with more time and would like to have a way to share what I am doing.
